A visit to Myanmar would be incomplete without a wander around Ywa Ma Village which is well -known as “the floating one” because all its roads are canals making Ywama Village a web of waterways. Ywama’s floating markets, held every five days, is one of Inlay’s most well-known tourist spots. The principle feature of Ywa mama Village is the Market where tremendous bustle of activities happen. Purchasers and sellers all gather in boats laden with the products of the Lake. Flowers, fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meat, opium weights and metal artifacts, clothing and bags are exchanged and there are numerous sorts of crafted works for gift seekers. While you are going around the village by boat you will see the genuine life of the Inthar and their houses being built with long straight wooden poles stretching into the lake bed.
