On December 5 and 6, 2019, the International Tourism Conference: “Vietnam Tourism in the 21st Century – Sustainable Tourism” was organized successfully at British University Vietnam (BUV). This conference aimed to create an inclusive environment where researchers, practitioners, and students can discuss practices, opportunities, and challenges in relation to Vietnamese travel and tourism.
The first day was dedicated to tourism professionals and researchers. On the second day, the conference opens to students, undergraduates, and interested parties. The panel discussion, in the second conference day, gave a more practical outlook with attendance from leading travel experts from travel companies in Vietnam:

The conference separated into two sessions
1. TREND IN VIETNAM AND REAL EXPERIENCE FROM DIFFERENT COMPANIES
2. SUGGESTIONS FOR STUDENTS IN THE FUTURE
Through the conference, students had the chance to gain practical knowledge about sustainable tourism in Vietnam, an updated trend in the world, and also more ideas about what they can do from their daily activities for the future sustainable development of Vietnam.
