Day 1: Hanoi arrival (-/-/D & guide)

Arrive in Ha Noi. The guide and car will pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in. Enjoy a special cyclo tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and old quarter within one hour, then move to Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre to enjoy the traditional water puppet show before dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B/L/- & guide)

Pick up from hotel and transfer to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, the most iconic and popular leader of Vietnam, known to his people as ‘Uncle Ho’; his house-on-stilts which was built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic minorities, where he lived for most of his remaining days and One-Pillar Pagoda, built of wood on a single stone pillar, designed to resemble a lotus blossom, the symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Continue to visit Temple of Literature, which is a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture. Founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong, the temple is dedicated to Confucius (Khong Tu) and honours Vietnam’s finest scholars and men of literary accomplishment. It became Vietnam’s first university in 1076. After lunch, you will visit one of the special museums - Vietnamese Women’s Museum, which gives an excellent museum showcases women’s role in Vietnamese society and culture. Then head to Hoan Kiem Lake, an oasis of calm right in the heart of the city; nearby Ngoc Son Temple, which is reached via the red-painted, wooden The Huc Bridge. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong – Ninh Binh (B/L/- & guide)

Pick up from hotel and transfer towards the southwest of Hanoi to Cuc Phuong National Park. It takes about 2,5 hours to get to Cuc Phuong National Park officially opened in 1960 as the first national park in Vietnam. Firstly, you will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, and to the protection of their habitats. Keep going into the center of the park and stop along the path to discover the mysterious ancient human cave and enjoy lunch at a house-on-stilted nearby. Taking a short trek into the National Park for sightseeing and learn more about the diversity of fauna and flora in Vietnam's oldest forest. You will have an opportunity to take picture of one thousand years old tree then come back to the Park Centre. Continue the journey east through the Ninh Binh Province. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Halong (B/L/- & guide)

The journey starts with a visit to the TAM COC which is also called the “DRY HALONG BAY”. This area is famous for its breathtaking scenery. Embark on a small, hand rowed sampan and begin the journey along green waterways. Continue the tour and stop at the nearby BICH DONG PAGODA and the giant cathedral at PHAT DIEM before continuing to HOA LU which is the birthplace of the Vietnamese nation. Visitors can see two temples, DINH TIEN HOANG TEMPLE and LE DAI HANH TEMPLE. Then travel by vehicle from Ninh Binh to Halong. Overnight in Halong.

Day 5: Halong – Hanoi (B/L/- & guide)

From here you will board a traditional wooden junk boat and start to explore the stunning mystical landscape of Halong Bay, one of the world's most famous UNESCO World Heritage sites where where thousands of limestone karsts and islets in various sizes and shapes rise from the clear, emerald water of the Gulf of Tonkin, most of which are uninhabitated and unaffected by humans. The wind, rain and sea have carved out dramatic caves and grottoes in some of the islands, several of which will be explored. Many have names that reflect the shape of the rocks such as Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong) and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi). At the core of the islets, we will visit a wonderful cave and grotto named Thien Cung (Heavenly Residence Grotto) before returning to Halong pier. Disembark at Halong pier at approximately 16.30 pm and return to Hanoi by vehicle. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Duong Lam village – Hue (B/L/- & guide)

Pick up from hotel and depart for Duong Lam Village which is about 60 km west of Hanoi. This village has been known as a museum of laterite with ancient houses aged up to 400 years old. It is also the only place in Vietnam where the two kings King Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen were born - the two heroes who led resistance wars against China's Sung and Southern Han troops to recover national independence.

Enjoy a walk or take a bike ride around the village, you will explore the special architecture, traditional culture and traditions of countryside of Vietnam which is still well preserved today. After lunch at a local house, head to Mia Pagoda, built during the Tran Dynasty before 1632 and still preserves many ancient artifacts. Mong Phu is the biggest and the most famous commune of Duong Lam Village. Here, you also can admire ancient houses made of laterite and mud, two materials that are abundant in the area, stroll in small lanes, and observe local people doing their daily business. Transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for flight to Hue.

Day 7: Hue city tour (B/L/- & guide)

Pick up from hotel in Hue to visit the elaborate Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh and Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc, the fourth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty; he had his tomb constructed when he was still on the throne in 1848. After learning about the religion and culture, you continue the journey to discover the Imperial Citadel, which covers an area of 52 km2, the construction began between 1804 and 1833 under the Nguyen dynasty, surrounded as a fortification guarded by 80 bunkers and a deep trench of 40m large, connected by a bridge in front of ten gates. In the late afternoon you will find yourself in Dong Ba market, the biggest and most significant market in Hue in particular, and Central Vietnam in general. Here, you can find traditional local products on sale together with a variety of things, from the conical hats, toothpicks to luxurious jewelleries. Afterwards, you will have time to enjoy a boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Overnight in Hue
Day 8: Hue – Hoi An (B/L/- & guide)

Pick up and transfer to Hoian. After lunch, take a tour around the charming Hoi An Town on foot, following the narrow lanes, standing the ancient houses on both sides blending with Chinese, Japanese style and a bit of European, to see the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Meeting Hall, Tan Ky House. Enjoy shopping time here with numerous art galleries, handmade souvenir stores and tailor shops, where you can get some quick made-to-measure clothes. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 9: Hoi An traditional villages (B/L/- & guide)

The bus will collect you at your hotel lobby and transferred to Bach Dang dock where you will take a wooden boat to Cam Thanh nipa palm (water coconut) village. The village was the shelter during Vietnam War for local people and soldiers, then becoming well-known for seafood. Here you are able to experience the daily life of a Vietnamese fisherman, get to know about their families and their community. Commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Join in a local fisherman on the river to try casting the net and go fishing. Then, you can learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. Explore the tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of the past war and listen to the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Have lunch at local family house in the village take a rest before transfering back the hotel. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 10: Hoian free (B/-/- & guide)

A day full of leisure in Hoian. Overnight in Hoian.Free on your own until check-out.

Day 11: Hoian – Danang – Saigon (B/-/- & guide)

After breakfast, transfer to Danang to take the flight to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 12: Saigon city tour (B/L/- & guide)

Start a day by visiting the Reunification Palace (Ex-presidential Palace) that was built in 1962 and the Palace is well-known for its outstanding architecture of 60s. This is where South Vietnam's presidents used to live and work. The displays are still remained undamaged. After that, the tour continues to take a quick visit to neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Centre Post Office. In the Office, there are two painted maps that were created just after the post office was built. One is "Telegraphic lines of Southern Vietnam and Cambodia in 1892" and another is "Saigon and its environment 1892".

In the afternoon, you will have chance to come to Vinh Nghiem pagoda - the first pagoda in Vietnam built in Vietnamese traditional architecture style but with concrete. The model and namesake of the pagoda follows an 11th-century Vinh Nghiem Buddhist temple in Bac Giang province. Then, we move to the centre locating Ben Thanh market - a large marketplace in Saigon. The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and a symbol of this city. You will easily choose and buy souvenirs for your friends in your homeland with a variety of local handicrafts, textiles, Ao Dai as well as local cuisines. Afterwards, it's time to relax on OMG Bar (belongs to Silverland Central Hotel & Spa). You can get your favorite drinks and enjoy one of the best paronama views in Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 13: Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon (B/L/- & guide)

Pick you up at your hotel and then head to Tay Ninh Province to visit Cao Dai Temple and attend a morning Caodaism ritual praying. The Temple with its ceremonies is a unique example of the combination of the Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity and Islam.

After lunch in local restaurant, you will be driven to the underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during their struggle for independence - Cu Chi Tunnels. Covering nearly 250km, the tunnels system was the shelter to over 16,000 communist guerillas during the war. After a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will spend time exploring the maze of tunnels including the secret cellar-door, museum of self-made weapons, shooting range, garment-factory ammunition and the tunnels to have a real look at how Vietcong communists were able to survive in this tiny underground network. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 14: Saigon – Mekong – Saigon (B/L/- & guide)

After breakfast, pick up from hotel and transfer to Ben Tre – Mekong Delta. Upon arrival at Ben Tre, you will cruise down the busy branches of Mekong and into a peaceful canal to see the daily life of farmers. Begin biking on backcountry roads passing through rural villages, rice paddy fields, rivers and canals. Then stop and visit coconut processing workshop and sightseeing daily activities. Next, stop at farmer house for seeing mat weaving and try exotic seasonal fruits unique to the region. After lunch at local restaurant, discover the real life in village by bike, come to workshop to see people make rice paper cake and visit local Cao dai temple. Get along riverside to go back. Transfer to Hochiminh city. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 15: Saigon Departure (B/-/- & guide)

After breakfast, free on your own until check-out. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight back home.
