DAY 1: ARRIVAL – HANOI (B/-/-)
When you arrive in HaNoi and check in at your hotel, you will take a short visit to the Old Quarters with its 36 ancient streets and the Hang Be market, a typical day market in Vietnam. In the evening, you will enjoy an entertaining water puppet show, a traditional Vietnamese art form. Overnight in HaNoi.
DAY 2: HANOI – HA LONG (B/L/D)Departing at 08:00 AM from your hotel, you will experience a pleasant 3-hour drive to Ha Long city. Along the way, you will see emerald green rice fields and industrious Vietnamese villagers at work. Upon arrival at the boat pier, you will take a tender to a luxury junk and enjoy a welcome cocktail.
A Vietnamese set menu lunch with fresh local seafood will be served on board while you embark on the junk into the bay where you will see the incredible karst formations. When arriving by boat at the Bat cave (Hang Doi), you will have several options to choose from: you may sail to a local fishing village by tender or to

impressive caves by a rowing sampan or just relax with good services on board. In the evening, a Vietnamese dinner will be served on board. Overnight on the boat.
DAY 3: HA LONG – HANOI – HUE (B/L/-)In the early morning, you can be free at leisure or participate in the Tai Chi instructions and contemplate the sunrise on the sundeck before departing by boat to the Surprise cave.
A brunch will be served from 8:30 to 10:00 in the morning. Then, you will start cruising to the Ha Long bay until noon while you relax and take pictures. Returning back in Ha Long at the boat pier, you will be driven back to Hanoi. Arrival at around 04:00 PM whereafter you will be transferred to the airport of Hanoi where you take a short flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 4: HUE – HOI AN (B/-/-)
In the morning, you will visit the Forbidden Purple city or Imperial Citadel, where the Nguyen dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945. After that, you proceed to take a morning boat on the romantic Perfume river with stop overs at the Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang and Tu Duc tombs. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the scenic ride from Hue to Hoi An. Upon arrival, you will have free time to stroll around the ancient town of Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 5: HOI AN – COOKING CLASS AND WALKING TOUR (B/L/-)After breakfast at your hotel at around 8:00 AM , you will depart for a half day cooking class at Tra Que, a charming village which supplies vegetables to kitchens all over the town. You will spend the morning working with the villagers as they will show you the way how to harvest and prepare fresh vegetables for meals. Naturally, you will cook some Vietnamese dishes with your hosts before tasting the fruits of your labor. After all the cooking, you will go back to Hoi An for a walking tour around the ancient town passing by the former merchant’s houses, the 400-year-old Japanese bridge, ancient pagodas, temples and the colourful market. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 6: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/-/-)
After breakfast, you will go to Da Nang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. You will have free time for a half day to visit the central quarters by yourself where there are many houses and buildings constructed under the French domination: Notre Dame cathedral, center post office and Ben Thanh market. After lunch, in the afternoon, you will proceed to China town for the Binh Tay market and the Thien Hau pagoda. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
DAY 7: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAN THO (B/L/-)Departing for Vinh Long, where you will sail on the Tien Giang river which links to the upper Mekong delta and where you will get submerged into the bustling Cai Be floating market.
On the way, you will make stop overs at the ceramic tile factory, coconut candy workshop and a rice husking business. Lunch will be served in an orchard, where you will savour juicy fruits, home-made honey liquor, and rehearse southern traditional songs called Cai Luong. Afterwards, you continue your way to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 8: CAN THO – CHAU DOC (B/L/-)You will make a boat trip along the Mekong delta and visit the Phong Dien market. Thereafter, you will depart by road for Chau Doc near Cambodia, check in at your hotel and then have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, yet another cruise on the Mekong river visiting the fish ponds and a Cham village with their mosques before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Chau Doc.
DAY 9: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B/-/-)
Today is a special day since you will get on the boat cruise to Phnom Penh on the Mekong river. Arriving at the Cambodian capital after approx. 5 hours, you will check in at your hotel and have free time to pass the rest of the day by the National museum, Russian market, Independence monument and Wat Ounalom. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
DAY 10: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B/-/-)After breakfast, you will take a flight to Siem Reap. A car will pick you up and take you to your hotel for check-in. Then, you will visit Banteay Srei temple built in the 11th century and Ta Prohm temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 11: SIEM REAP (B/-/-)
After breakfast, you will go to the south gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, terrace of the elephant, which used to be a base for the king’s grand audience hall. You also will pay a visit to the terrace of the Leper king, a terrace housing the royal ceremony. In the afternoon, you will head for Angkor Wat, Western Baray. and climb the Bakheng hill to have a bird’s-eye view of the sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 12: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (B/-/-)After breakfast at your hotel, you will be free to relax or go shopping. A car will pick you up and take you to the airport for a flight to the next destination. The colourful tour will end here.
