When you arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, you will take a tour around the city visiting the war museum, central post office, Notre Dame cathedral and the bustling China town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY – TAY NINH – CU CHI (B/L/-)
You will experience a journey across the typical southern countryside to Tay Ninh province in western regions of Vietnam visiting Cao Dai temple, the center of Caodaism where you will be amazed at the multicoloured architecture and the way all major faiths around the world blend together in a unique religious cocktail. Up to you if it’s your taste or not. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will go to Cu Chi tunnels, the vestiges of the American war, an underground tunnel system constructed by the Vietnamese resistance soldiers during a long time struggling for independence. You then will get back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/-)
You will depart for Vinh Long and visit the My Thuan suspension bridge en route. Reaching Vinh Long, you will take a boat trip on the Mekong river to the Cai Be floating market, a typical bustling trade center on water of southern villagers. You will proceed to a small channel of An Binh islet and visit a ceramic tile factory, coconut candy workshop and a rice husking business together with the famous Bonsai of gardener Sau Giao. After these visits, you will be driven back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – NHA TRANG (B/-/-)
You will visit the Reunification palace which was built in 1962 and is now well-known for its outstanding architecture of the sixtees. You also will have the chance to know more about China town, visit Thien Hau pagoda, the worship place of the Chinese community of Kwang Shieng built in 1760. Free at leisure until a car picks you up and takes you to the airport for a flight to Nha Trang, one of the most beautiful beach cities in central Vietnam where the sun shines all year around. After check-in, the time will be at leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 5: NHA TRANG (B/-/-)
After breakfast, a car will pick you up and take you to numerous attractions in Nha Trang. Firstly, the car will drive you to Cau Da for a visit to the Vietnam oceanographic institute, where you can see the whole collection of sea creatures in Nha Trang bay. After that, you will go to Chong promontory rocks, Po Nagar temples, Long Son pagoda, and the Cathedral or stone church built under the time of French colonization on a hill. Today’s tour will end after your visit to the local Dam market. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 6: NHA TRANG (B/L/-)
After breakfast at your hotel, a car will pick you up and take you to Cau Da port to visit Tri Nguyen aquarium on Mieu island. You can find many sea creatures of the Nha Trang bay here creating a whole new small ocean. Mun island with a lot of living colorful corals and fishes is the best island for scuba diving. You will also be able to see caves in which sea swallows nest. After that, you can relax, swimm, play water sports or do other activities on Mot island, Tranh beach island or on a small island called “Mini Beach”. A fresh lunch will be served on the island. On the way back, you will visit a fishing village before heading for the shore. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 7: NHA TRANG (B/-/-)
All day free at leisure on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 8: NHA TRANG (B/-/-)
All day free at leisure on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
DAY 9: NHA TRANG – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/-/-)
You will be free at leisure on the beach until a car picks you up and take you to the airport for the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the time in Ho Chi Minh City is free for you to discover the place at night. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 10: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
In this departure day, you will be at leisure until going to HCMC’s airport for the next destination.
